The LOXAM Group, which has been present in the Netherlands since 2006 - with its subsidiary LOXAM B.V. derived from the acquisition of Spreeuwenberg Hoogwerk Systemen B.V., - has acquired the Equipment Rental company STAMMIS from RIWAL.

STAMMIS, founded in 1965 has a network of five branches located in Northern Holland, a full range of Power and General Plant Equipment, a brand image and is increasingly well known in construction and industry. STAMMIS became a subsidiary of Riwal through the acquisition of the INSTANT HOLLAND Group in January 2010. Unlike INSTANT Amsterdam, with its rental fleet of over 800 mobile elevating work platforms, STAMMIS has not been integrated into RIWAL, because of its mission to become a leading international access equipment specialist with its main focus on Europe.

Thanks to this acquisition, LOXAM B.V. will reinforce its current network of two General Plant and five Access branches.

The existing management of STAMMIS will remain in force and is - with the subsequent support of the LOXAM organisation – expected to contribute to the development of LOXAM B.V. and the LOXAM Group in the Netherlands.

This new acquisition consolidates LOXAM’s leadership in Europe, with a 540-branches network and a fleet of more then 200.000 machines. LOXAM had a turnover of 702.5 millions Euros in 2010.
