Trend-setting decorative wall coverings for new constructions and renovated buildings are widely used in the building industry to cover walls and ceilings. Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics, a world leader in the production and distribution of glass fibre wall coverings and the paintable wall coverings market, has developed Easyglue®, a pre-glued glass fibre wall covering. It is cost-effective, quick to install, and has been developed for building and interior design professionals in response to the needs of this constantl- changing market. Stylish, cost-effective, durable Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics offers building professionals quality, style and fast installation with its new Easyglue pre-glued paintable wall covering. Designed for private homes, apartment buildings, hospitals, offices and public buildings, the wall covering is an ideal, durable decorating solution. Manufactured exclusively from glass fibre with a glue backing, Easyglue is available in two versions: pre-painted which requires just a single coat of paint and standard which needs two. The only preparation needed is to ensure that the surface is clean and dry, with even absorption capacity. Easyglue wall covering can be applied to walls, partitions, ceilings and much more. Easyglue is manufactured from glass fibre, offering optimal technological and physical performances. The wall covering has perfect dimensional stability and exemplary durability, an excellent fire rating (M0/M1 rating) and 100 per cent rot resistance, making it the ideal solution for wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Fast and easy installation: a winning combination The smooth glue backing guarantees optimal adhesion for top-quality results. Easyglue offers time and product savings. For faster, more competitive installation, Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics recommends using the three-step Théard mechanised wetting system: 1- Wet both sides of the wall covering in the water tray 2- Remove excess water using the vacuum 3- Cut the panels using the measure Next paste the first panel to the surface, starting in a corner. Rub the panel down thoroughly to remove air bubbles. Remove excess at the top and bottom by running a Stanley knife along a metal ruler. When the covering is fully dry, apply a single coat of acrylic paint to the pre-painted version, or two coats of paint to the standard version of Easyglue. The wall covering can be repainted up to six times and offers hassle-free maintenance. Simply vacuum, wipe over with soapy water and rinse. Environmentally friendly Oeko-tex label: placing the accent on user health and the environment. Designed with health and environmental concerns in mind, Easyglue pre-glued paintable wall coverings underwent stringent testing before obtaining Oeko-tex Standard 100 class 1 certification (an extremely high health rating). Wall coverings with the environmental label are guaranteed to be free from hazardous substances which can cause irritation or allergies, and are safe to use. The Oeko-tex label is a mark given only to top-quality products. Strict testing is required against a wide range of scientific criteria in order to obtain this international certification. The Easyglue pre-glued paintable wall covering has a flexible, porous structure which ensures that the wall breathes to prevent the build-up of mould or bacteria.
